Senior Vice President - Producer Development

David Aller joined Monitor Liability Managers, Inc. in 1998 and is responsible for managing the Producer Development Department. Dave’s duties include managing Monitor’s existing agency force, establishing new agent relationships and investigating opportunities for business growth, including association alliances and new product lines.

He began his insurance career in 1987 with E.W. Blanch Company in Minneapolis as a Pricing Analyst. After an initial period in the Actuarial Department, Dave became a treaty and facultative broker. He later joined Sentry Insurance Company as an Account Executive selling commercial lines. Before joining Monitor, he was the Director of the Central Marketing Unit for Professional Liability Underwriting Managers, Inc. (PLUM).

Dave obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Management from the College of St. Thomas. He earned his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.  

He holds the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is a licensed Illinois producer.
