Thomas Hayden leads Monitor's underwriting efforts for Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Management Liability products in the western U.S. (with the exception of California). He joined Monitor in 2002.

Tom’s professional liability career began in 1992 with AIG, underwriting Directors and Officers, Employment Practices and Miscellaneous Professional Liability products. In 1997, he joined Royal & SunAlliance where he advanced to head of their western region underwriting operation and specialized in Directors and Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime Insurance 
                                   and Kidnap/Ransom coverages.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Tom has been the chairperson of the Southwest Chapter of PLUS for the past three years.
