Assistant Vice President – Regulatory Compliance and Business Processing

Penelope Kilberry joined Monitor Liability Managers in 1998. She started as a Regulatory Compliance Manager and now serves as Assistant Vice President of the Regulatory Compliance and Business Processing Departments. Her areas of responsibility include managing product approvals, producer licensing and company administrative operations, including underwriting and claims support and office services.

A versatile insurance professional with extensive and diversified experience, Penny got her start as a commercial account representative for an independent insurance agency. She also worked as an underwriter and compliance analyst for a medical malpractice insurer. Prior to her arrival at Monitor, Penny served as a Senior Analyst for the Government Affairs Department of Interstate Insurance Group.

Penny is an active member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, having served on its national executive committee, board of directors and as Great Lakes regional chapter president. She is a member of the Regulatory and Legislative Section of the CPCU Society and served as a curriculum advisor for the Associate in Regulatory Compliance designation program.

Penny is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. She holds the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate Compliance Professional (ACP), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS). She is also a licensed Illinois Producer.
