Monitor Liability Managers is currently searching for an Underwriting Trainee to learn all lines of our business including: Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Lawyers Professional Liability and Management Liability. This position is entry-level, we respectfully request those with experience to not apply.

The candidate will learn the following job duties: - Support the achievement of established department goals related to profit, growth, customer service and producer relations.
Evaluate risk characteristics to determine potential business opportunities in accordance with Monitor guidelines and philosophy. Develop and maintain assigned brokerage relationships. Demonstrate teamwork abilities and when working with other members of the department and company.
To be successful, you must have the initiative and desire to succeed. You must be a recent college graduate, junior or senior in college; efficient in oral and written communication, have a strong desire to learn, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter. (Degrees preferred: Finance, economics, insurance or related fields).
